本中心是质检总局、公安部授权的消
防产品法定检验机构，主要担负：
各类防火建筑材料、墙体材料；各类防火涂料；
耐火建筑构（配）件；各类阻燃（耐火）电线电缆；
各类阻燃织物、铺地材料；各类阻燃塑料及其制品；
各类家具组件与各类装饰装修防火材料等产品的
抽查、进出口检验、型式认可检验、监督检验、型式
检验以及企业委托检验等任务。
各类防火建筑材料、装饰装修材料、耐火（阻
燃）电线电缆、耐火构（配）件等防火安全标识、质
量跟踪标识、公共场所阻燃标识等业务申请、受理及
现场考查以及办理建材质量、环保性能检测。
